Cobargo, on the beautiful far south coast

Cobargo is a village of quaint olden-style stores, pottery, leatherwork, art galleries, bookstores, country cafes and antique shops, along with a world-class winery. Cobargo combines the skills and craft of a working village with a genuinely historic past, its streetscape featuring many turn of the century buildings.

  • Cobargo is located just off the beautiful far south coast
of N.S.W. between Narooma and Bega. It is 386km
south of Sydney via the Princes Highway.

  • Cobargo is the hub of the Sapphire Coast, being an excellent base to explore the area from. Come to Cobargo, take in the sights, explore the many shops and artisans in the area.

  • Cobargo has developed from a sleepy village into a vibrant tourist destination in the past decade.

  • A highlight of Cobargo is the multi award-winning winery just outside town which, visitors say, produces the best wines on the South Coast.
